Reading this board today, I have read an accusation by one poster that a former Chairman of BFC effectively embezzelled money to keep his ailing business going. This is the same chairman who piloted the club through any number of financial storms and never took a penny in wages in spite of his huge committment. He took the club to its only season in the Premiership before losing sight of the sound financial principles that kept the club safe through the majority of his reign because he was chasing his, and the supporters' dream of another season rubbing shoulders with the elite. Another poster told us how grateful he was to the clubs current owner for saving the club, before reasoning that if the money has run out the owner should now f*** off and give someone else a chance. As though an expression of gratitude make up for the ingratitude which immediately follows. My question is, if you were a potential investor who has just read how supporters treat those who have invested either their own time, or their hard earned cash in the club, would you think that you would be treated any differently when things go badly.
I think these chairman know the lay of the land tbh red rain there's always some cnuts but fortunately they're massively outnumbered by people that realise what a fantastic job both these people have done for bfc.
