Arkles gets packed More luck with the other - if you fancy a ten minute walk to Goodison ther's some decent pubs around the main stand - they're likely to welcome you with open arms!
RE: Arkles gets packed got told by a shef unt fan who works with me as he had trouble trying to get in last season with his kids.thanks for info on goodison will be parking at everton .
They're proper pubs ...if you know what i mean traditional pub feel to them ..You know pint for theman white wine for the lady ...there's the Wilmslow Hotel and if you carry on going there's a pub just past the Gwladys street called the Spellow which is a good one too</p>
LiverpoolRed have you any specific recommendations around Goodison - I think we're contemplating parking round there. Good plan? Are the boozers gonna be safe? Edit - sorry just seen your other post, so pubs are noted!
Anfield is the best for pubs. You can't miss them. On my five minute walk up to the ground, I see 5. Beats The Reebok Stadium, when they look at you with two heads if you ask where one is, that's for sure.
With the greatest respect... The chances of me dropping into a random pub in the Anfield area on Saturday are about as high as our chances of winning. Are there any pubs that you feel are sure to make away fans welcome? And yes, the Reebok is *****, but so are the majority of these flat-pack stadia that keep getting thrown up in the name of progress.
we look like we are heading for the cabbage hall, will we be able to park there or thereabouts and then walk to the ground ?
