The 'Fat Cat', on ALMA STREET Sheffield. Fantastic real ale pub. Won loads of awards for quality real ales. Vegetarian food of the year for endless years with 2 meat choices on every day. £3.95 approx, everything is home made, nothing 'plastic' or microwaved. Good wholesome foods and great beer, Not far from ground - walk to end of road and get Tram to Piggsborough - easy peasy Forget it if you want to drink crappy lagers and draught fizz Nice Belgian Beers on offer though. YoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooReeeeds Hope to see some of you there!
Aye, but Steve the Landlord will organise a Taxi for a few of yer Not a good idea to leave it until the last minute though as traffic is very bad in and around the ground and on the Dual carriageways on Match days. The 'Fat Cat' is almost like my local and is a legend, and favourite pub as I have been going there for years. I love it and only wish there were more pubs like it as most have disappeared. Last time we played the Pigs, myself and a friend left it a bit late , having had several nice choices from the bar and we walked to the Stadium It nearly killed us, it's further than what you think, but you super fit lads could leave at 2.40pm and have no probs, we left at 2,30pm and got to Swillsbro for K.O. but nivver again. Owd heart was going, but then again that could have been the adrenaline, with Owly sat on opposite side and the weekend 'bragging rights' at stake. Thouight my heart was gonna give up! 5 pints and a swift walk - jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus!
RE: Married to a Pig, I've no chance of visiting that one! Discovered it a few years ago, never had a bad pint or ten
