Surprising how many former public toilets are now bricked up.

Why is this? Do people not p*ss as much as they used to?

Public toilets are a cottage industry.

People do pee as much as ever, but nowadays they just use shop doorways.

Budget cuts pure and simple. It's the sort of thing you can cut without too many moans. The moans come later when you literally don't have a pot to piss in.

The toilets were bricked up and sold off in Wombwell. The council have closed our bogs, closed and sold off the Town Hall, closed and sold the Baths and even sold the Top Market.

Wombwell has been asset stripped by Barnsley Council.

We stayed at Chalfont St.Peter when we went to the play off finals and the toilets in that village were immaculate and free.
