You know, like on all them rubbish programmes that ITV tends to favour and that our lass racks up the phone bill with. We'll take it as read that Bristol City and Peterborough are going down because they're rubbish, but how about the Football League scrapping the fight for the third relegation spot altogether and just letting Barnsley fans vote on who they think should go down. I'll go first and will choose Bolton Wanderers. My reasons are that they were horrible to watch all those years under Fat Sam, with dodgy dealings a-plenty, that their chairman is a twonk for wanting to scrap relegation from the Premiership so he deserves all that he gets, that they are getting away with signing players despite being £136m in debt and on a collision course for administration and diddling local businesses and the taxman out of money and because they talk funny. Please cast your vote and the team that will get the third relegation place will be either the team with the most votes, the team with the best argument for them going down or Bolton Wanderers, because it was my idea and my decision is final!
I'm with thee. Phil Gartside is a total penarse. Would love to see him next year time standing there arguing that there should be no relegation to League 2!
I want to vote Bolton for the same reasons as you but my finger won't stop hovering over the Sheffield Wednesday button. Its like some irresistible mystical power is drawing me towards it.
Cardiff. Living beyond their means for way too long, and I think Bolton / Wednesday etc may be capable of relegation of it's own doing. I'd also chuck Leicester in there, but not quite as annoying as Cardiff yet.
Maybe you can vote for both using different email addresses like the people who rigged the BBC Sports Personality of the Year vote a few years ago?!
I quite like the idea of a vote to decide the last relegation/promotion spot. Winner of the playoffs against the 3rd bottom club in an X-Factor stylee public phone vote. However the last time a vote was used to decide promotion we were on the wrong side of it...
