We're getting into Manchester Picadilly at 1 tomorrow, just wondering if anyone is drinking round there in the afternoon? Would be nice to go in a pub with a few reds fans.

    Cheers.

Aye tis indeed. Mental strength lager for not much money. Luckily it's someone I know and his mates that's going there, not me. I'm driving, probably stopping at a pennine country pub for a drink & sarnie, although The Twang sounds like a good option as well. Sorry I should say, "the Birmingham based Indie rockers will play a blistering set before the eagerly anticipated FA Cup Quarter Final".

I know this might be a silly question but do any of the City Square bars sell anything resembling real ale

Sinclair's oyster bar is the Sam smiths pub. Unfortunately they stopped selling Ajingerbrau lager and pils years ago. Remember working in a Sam smiths pub it was £1.87 a pint!

Waldorf for us. They've got barnsley bitter, Acorn Blonde and Yorkshire Pride on.

Owned by a Barnsley fan, 5 mins from Piccadilly.

There's a blast from the past. Remember getting hammered with Phil from The Twang, when they played Lucurom many years ago. Good lad, $hit band :)
