Anyone that's been to Southend before, any decent pubs near the ground OR any bars already planned from on here???</p> Setting off at 8am, and AA routefinder says about 3 hours 20 mins to get there (ofcourse sticking to speed limits!!!)</p>

Spread Eagle & Golden Lion pubs, which are only yards apart, on the A127, just up from from the car park entrance to the Main Stand. There is also a good fish and chip shop located across the road by the traffic lights, called the 'Fish House'.
