You never know where it could end....... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/britains-fattest-man-dead-carl-5924039
I find myself unable to feel sorry for anyone in that state. OK I'm sorry he has died and that is tragic but TBH he did not waken up one morning weighing 60 stone or whatever it was. Surely a few years ago he must have found his trousers were not fitting anymore. Why did he not take the hint and stop munching on all those yorkie bars and hi calorie take aways. Too many folk in the country with similar problems. Why can't they make changes to their eating habits before it gets to the life threatening stage. Here is hoping those at risk take the hint and change before it is too late.
Was just about to post something similar. If he is that large that he is bed-bound, how the chuff did he manage to buy any food to eat?
65 stones is nearly 6x me. How can anyone get that fat without feeders ? There has to be some culpability for the feeders.
Why? Surely the man was able to refuse junk food and say no. Doubt he was force fed. Only himself to blame IMO although others maybe could and should have been more helpful and supportive before he got to such a stage. But I disagree that others should be held to account.
I wasn't discounting his personal responsibility, but when you can't actually move someone should have intervened. Imo
Agree to an extent, but to let himself get in half this state in the first place suggest he's got some sort of mental health issues.
Addicted to food aren't they? Well no. Salads n fruit clearly not on the menu. People like this want harpooning.
Same as those in the country who smoke and drink heavily.... What do we do? Refuse them healthcare because they brought it on themselves?
Well Selby I wonder how many of those people would self abuse if that was the case. I honestly hate to think that over eating, over smoking, over drinking and over drug using indiviuals might prevent others with life threatening diseases from getting the help they need on our over stretched NHS.
