Just catching up on the main site today and noticed comments along the line of "we have our valuation, Ujpest have another". I thought a fee on our option had been agreed at the time we loaned him. This reads otherwise. Anyone else have a similar interpretation on this to me or is my mind playing tricks?
Yeah, it was stated that the fee was pretty much agreed if we wanted him. Maybe his failure to repeat the free-scoring form he showed in Hungary has caused us to revise our offer.
EDIT - Just speculation, like.

I think what happened was that we paid a substantial loan amount back in January (was it?) but that amount was only to secure his loan signing, I guess Ujpest want more on top of that, and we want to pay less than they are asking perhaps.
I knew we paid the loan fee at the time. My understanding was we'd also secured first option on him at and agreed price. However, reading this it just looks as we had the first option to buy him at an undetermined price.
My understanding is that a total fee for the player was agreed when he joined us, of which we payed about 60% as a loan fee. We now need to pay the remaining but are trying to get the amount reduced. Expect him to sign though because I dont think we will want to lose the player and all the money we have invested so far.
