How should I play it? I've only got another two weeks left down there, but the posh fans have been getting quite cocky with me since December!

Turn up in a reds shirt, a scarf tied round each arm, a red and white jester's hat and a brazil flag as a cape. Obvious really.

Offer you commiserations, don't gloat and you'll be forever thought of as a decent bloke. I reckon 'a decent bloke' is the highest accolade you can get in this life.

say how dashed unlucky they were-that in any other season they'd have stayed up-they will bounce straight back-all the while with a Cheshire cat smile on your face :)

Don't say anything a look can say it all, especially a smug little grin that is permanently on your face!! I would expect some remarks about how long Luke Steele kept for the ball for, they'll be grasping at straws going on about time wasting. That's had a few comments on the forums, think that's down to Sky as they kept showing it repeatedly

Say things like 'Yea I hear the FA are investigating the time wasting and theres a 5 point deduction' They're new to football really so this will get their attention. Then after a brief pause say. 'Only kidding, you're down, how sad , never mind' and flip the middle digit. That should do it.

BTW working in Peterboro next week!! how lucky. I'm a courier, if I get anything south I'm going to detour just so I can drive around with BFC stickers all over the back window. Need to buy a Yorkshire flag.

See, so many great options!! Thanks all.

And yes I agree that Luke will have trouble when he returns to his hometown in future!

The phrase that would wind me up most is " the table doesn't lie" which I don't personally agree with in general.

With the runs we have both been on, it has given us a cocky air that we could get the results required. I would just say that they pushed us right down to the wire and it could have gone either way on the day and wish em luck for next season.

I hoped we would both survive.

I've seen mention about the "timewasting" but if anything it is Huddersfield's fault not Barnsley's. Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday said "the referee isn't making him get rid of the ball"....the ball was on the floor and in play, so the onus was on Huddersfield players to make him play the ball, not the ref.

To be fair to the ref, he did tell Lee Novak to go and chase the ball....which he duly ignored and walked away :)

Its obvious Euan, go in there with all your Tykes guns blazing. Yesterday was superb and you should enjoy rubbing their faces in it. Make sure you know where all the exits are though ;)
