So it costs the same for a family of four supporting QPR as it does for one juvenile supporting Barnsley Even more glad I'm not going now
i was all set to go... almost booked transport weeks ago then decided to look at look how much tickets were. will not pay £20 for a 7 years old. even if transport was free.
I remember at Palarse years ago About 50 people in the boozer up the road heard the tickets were £25 a head. We all decided money was spent better behind the bar Especially as match was on sky
WHY NOT........... at least offer tarn familes attending with kids this offer in our end........FOOTBALL UNITES......NOT AT QPR BY LOOKS!!!!!!!! (furious)
RE: We did do a similar thing to Forest fans i,m expecting to pay full wack but must be hard when you,ve got kids as well (dunno)
RE: We did do a similar thing to Forest fans For what the QPR fans get for £20 it would cost Barnsley fans £100 plus the rest! If I was a Dad of two I'd be telling them to wait for the Donny Rovers game
Save your money and don't go. It's that simple. The prices are ******* scandalous anyway, and if they're doing deals for the home fans then **** them. It's QPR who are losing out after all. We charged home fans £5 for the Forest game last year and £20 for away fans. Everyone was laughing at Forest for the way they acted during that scenario, what's different? Some folk have short memories.
RE: Save your money and don't go. Well said Scott. Different for some now the boot is on the other foot. Nowt wrong with them wanting to treat their own fans. They aren't obliged to help our fans out. Why would they? For the cheaper price (which would make them little money) it would result in more away fans cheering us on.
end of day scott i aint bothered what they charge ile still go all wot is bein said is about juveniles dont u think 20quid for a 4yr old is deer tho ok we did that that to forest fans but still charged juveniles same as us
A family of 4 to for the QPR fans - £20 A family of 4 for the Forest game last season - £20 Yes, £20 for a 4 year old is ******* ridiculous. £30 for an adult is too expensive aswell - the solution to solve it is don't go, QPR are losing out after all. With fans not turning up to games won't that then signal that they need to lower prices to entice fans into the stadium? Is that not a win, win situation? Chill 'rt, we never get 'owt down there anyway. Save thee money for Pikeys game next month.
like i sais scott i aint bothered bout prices just thinkin of people wiv familys of 4 i dont have kids so ok for me but 2adults 2 kids 100quid
If it doesn't involve you then chill the **** 'rt. I doubt many families of 4 will make the journey down anyway, 3-4 hours on coach/car is along way to travel for restless kids don't you think? Of coure their's always the southern based reds, though i doubt they'll be prepared to pay those price anyway.
RE: Save your money and don't go. Erm remember Leicester did this against us too i think they reduced the price for home fans - clubs are allowed to do it. We usually do it in the dying stages of the season and it usually backfires - least you get to watch dreamboy whinge about it though.
What's he whinging about exactly? Like he says QPR are obliged to give offers to their fans, why would they give a **** about Barnsley? Just like we didn't offer the Forest fans the £5 ticket offer. They'll probably realise we won't bring many down anyway, so it entices their fans to come and over power the away support even more. Therefore giving the home team an advantage, simples.
