Steve Lomas,
Mauro Milanese,
Simon Royce,
Armel Tchakounte.</p>

Any of them? None jump out at me, though Bircham was always a nasty piece of work in central midfield who could be useful. Don't think I'd want any of em though.

They were awful for most part of the season. There's a good reason they have been released.

At a push I'd have a look at Royce as goalkeeper cover. But only if we reached the stage of being desperate. Don't want any of them.

We have to cut our cloth , I suspect we will sign a lot of players pre-season in the hope that some of them might turn out to be useful to us. Sort of a Harry Redknapp approach but without the brown envelopes being passed about.</p>

 

Don't think we trawled the depths at the start of the season when players were available - we just decided that we didn't want anyone and waited til everyone who was out of contract/released had been snapped up by other clubs!

 

I am expecting a lot of trialists pre-season ,

hope we get some some rough diamonds that just need a bit of polishing up.

 

We didn't finish our season until 3 weeks after the rest.

Remember Sturrock making a similar complaint the season before?

I'd consider Furlong (a bit old now though), Bircham (can be a bit of a knob head) and Royce (becuase he used to be alright and might be a better keeper than we've got).

Who knows, we might have 11 Hunagrian's playing for us next season. Who have FC Upjest (or whatever they're called) released this summer?
