    Was never going to work being highly thought of at Chelsea because fans from the off were going to be hard to win over. Surprised he lasted so long. Steve Lomas had the same problem as Millwall manager. Owen Coyle at the moment as a former Burnley manager. Danny Wilson did brilliant at Blades but still loads moaned about him due to his Wednesday connection.

    If you're rated highly at a club it very rarely works out when you go to one of their rivals to manage them. We got lucky and showed other clubs how it's done when Bassett nearly got us promoted the bloody Blunt :D

    seems fair enough to me. <30% WR after 50 games isn't good enough for QPR in the Champ. les ferdinand is a football man. don't think it's been taken lightly
