Only 75 mins flight from Manchester, 10 mins from Airport, even on Saturday's totally deserted due to Germans being completely unable to stomach anything more than a Korma.

Can accomodate up to 70 guests. Quality food and usually one waiter per two guests (well it is when me and the missus go :D )

Was thinking more of somewhere I can get via a short drive or train.

    Dil-raj is my back stop.

    OK, ok

    not my most helpful post....

The Dil Raj is OK, reliable, but depends how many.... As I said elsewhere Sat is tricky in my opinion. Recently someone wanted to book the entire restaurant on a sat night for a private do and was turned down with the words "not at any price" - the management don't want to annoy the regulars.

Anyway happy birthday in advance mate, hope you find somewhere.

Is there a train station at Berry Brow?

    and a decent pub?

Do you speak from personal experience?

    TIA

RE: Is there a train station at Berry Brow?

There's a train stop at Berry Brow, that is two stops from Huddersfield Town centre.

Aagrah in Sandal, Wakefeld or there's one at Denby Dale.

Red Chilli II in Wakefield (same owners as Chilli Lodge at Silkstone which is good).

Aagrah is probably the one you're on about. In the middle of nowhere. Damn I love a good Indian. BFC4EVA probably knows the place well, with being from the pie village.
