Went past oakwell on my way to work at 0630,already about 50-60 people in que.Think i ll wait while next week.
Just goes to show how stupid people can be. What possible reason is there to queue before opening on the first day of sale when there is a week and a half to secure seats? The mind boggles.
If everyone with a season ticket in The Ponty End... bought the extra ticket they were allowed then The Ponty would be close to full. Maybe people want to make sure their friends/family are sitting next to them. It was always going to happen when you let season ticket holders have two tickets.

Wouldn't help me what time I was there The 4 seats either side of mine are all taken by ST holders as well. We will be buying 4 seats between 2 ST holders but as long as the other 2 are together as well that's the best we can do

You just know Some people will be trying to get their "extra" seat as the one next to them even though it's another season ticket holder, and they'll be arguing with the ticket office staff over it.
theres always an initial panic, can't understand why people are getting so worrried about it, if you have a ST you are guaranteed a seat
LOOKS LIKE IT, I THOUGHT I WOULD GET OUR TICKETS AS WE WERE THERE ANYWAY TAKING MY SON TO SCHOOL, COULD NOT BELIEVE THE QUEUE AND HOW FULL THE CAR PARK WAS. DECIDED AGAINST IT. WIL TRY AGAIN LATER BUT THINK IT WILL GET WORSE THE LATER IT GETS
Leave it till next week! Emailed my mate who is going to go for ours (as he travels around Barnsley in his job so can call in during the day) just to inform him not to bother today. Remember the Cardiff ticket queues on the first day or 2....I think I went on day 3 and there were no queues!

approx 6,500 st holders?? if im right this means that if all season ticket holders buy their tickets (which i honestly doubt as its on bbc and everyones tight ) then the number of tickets sold will be roughly 13,000 add this to if chelsea sell out 6,000 which makes it 19,000 therefore theres still gonna be plenty of tickets for general sale...which = no need to queueueueue
