How on earth do they get the statistics that they claim to do for each player. It seems that the only way they can do it is to have 22 people at each match watching individual players and writing down or ticking boxes every time the layer they are watching does something! Is there an army of Actim statistician robots sent to each match and analyses individual players or do they do it a different way?
By the way, what does btt mean when someone posts? Each league registered player... ...is fitted with a rectal chip (Actimplug) that monitors how far they run, how many times they kick the ball and how many times they get excited so they can tell they've scored. Unfortunately they sometimes forget to turn them off so they register a goal every time a player uses a cash machine to check their balance.
Here's how they do it This is how they do it according to their website.
Actim Stats Explained
Actim Stats are a collection of team, player and match statistics.
They are derived from all the actions that take place during a match, including goals, shots on target, corners, fouls, offsides, passes, tackles, blocks and clearances. The raw data can be used to generate a wide range of tables and statistics such as player profiles, team and player head-to-heads and form guides.
PA Sport gathers match data for every Barclays English Premier League, Coca-Cola Championship and Scottish Premier League game.
The data is gathered by two methods - real-time match analysis and the study of video footage. The real-time analysis is conducted by ex-professional footballers that report on action at the grounds as it happens. Further, more detailed analysis is obtained by studying videos of the matches.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The FACA are putting the index on it's website which is called "Insight Live", so we will be able to see just how good our team and players are compared to the rest. It costs about £35 to access the site if you'r not a member. They only announced that they were doing it last month so no data for the Reds has been released yet and I don't know if they are releasing full match analysis. The Football League site has some limited data on it but its confined to the top 100 players and the three best ranked players in each team.

RE: Here's how they do it- Correction Correction to my post.
Its prozone data not actim data which is being made avalable to FACA members on it's website.
(seestars)
