For those in the know, three things:
1) They are coming to install the broadband tomorrow - there is no existing landline contract but there are already phone sockets in the house - will it be a case that they simply connect to those?
2) They are putting in a phoneline and wireless broadband - will they need to use two separate phone socket points or does it all work in one?
3) Where does the wireless router thing go? How big is it?
Sorry, i am a proper f.ckwit.

1) They are coming to install the broadband tomorrow - there is no existing landline contract but there are already phone sockets in the house - will it be a case that they simply connect to those? Dean Windass has been banned for 5 games 2) They are putting in a phoneline and wireless broadband - will they need to use two separate phone socket points or does it all work in one? If you ticked the box at the beginning of the season in your season ticket booklet then your tickets will be reserved and you will be charged by direct debit 3) Where does the wireless router thing go? How big is it You can only get an away ticket if you are a season ticket holder
gerrof only queue posts allowed until 7pm but to answer your question They may use an existing socket - or quite possibly fit a new one - they should ask you where you want it. The one line does both the router goes near the phone socket and is quite small - about the size of a large paperback novel
RE: gerrof only queue posts allowed until 7pm Thanks Farnham.
It's nice to get some sense as opposed to the rubbish these buffoons post.

Were not Buffoons you are, anybody and everybody knows that about Broadband, you Buffoon.
Go on ask me any question in the world

By the way are you getting a router or modem? If you get a wireless router it doesnt matter where it is as you can connect to the pc via air If its just a modem you need to run a usb cable to your PC - so you need the phonee socket in the same room as the computer
RE: By the way are you getting a router or modem? Wireless router.
Can you tell I work for an IT consultancy??

Hee hee so no one there could answer your question Or did you decide it was better to look thick on here than in the office?
RE: Hee hee I knew on here I'd get an answer tailored to my needs as a bit of a Joey, as opposed to the involved explanation I'd no doubt receive in here.
