I re-did the seal around the bath on Saturday with some of that sealing strip tape rather than silicone but this morning it seems to have come unstuck.

What would anyone recommend to stick it back on the wall, or should I just knock the house down, pour crude oil all over the garden and move away to start a new life?

That is one of the few things in the house I have made a good job of! I used silcone and masking tape though. I would daub a bit of that 'No Nails' stuff on and see what happens!

Should not come unstuck ,have you cleaned any residue -cleaning agent off the bath.
if its not sticking the ultimate would be to use the following but after applying this you wll have to smash the bath to remove it.Does not part company with what it sticks ,is there forever.use out of a gun same as silicone sealant, then sealing strip on top remove any exess straight away its name STICKS LIKE SH** comes in a tube same as silicone sealant only seen it in Allendales biulders Merchant in Hoyland .£7.00 a tube . Only use it if you do not want to remove the sealing strip at a later date - once stuck DOES NOT COME OFF "EVER"

Forget the tape & use fungal resistant silicone about £4 a tube, if your no good with a mastic gun call a plumber it should only cost about £700.

    top tip from a plumber.........

you need to fill the bath before you seal it-the weight of the water makes the bath move down-leave it for 24 hours with the waterin til it sets
