Question for Shepherd and Cryne

    You are both longstanding Barnsley supporters so would imagine you know youre as clued up about football as the rest of us.

    Im sure you would agree that the reds entered the playoffs by virtue of others not winning and that out of three playoff games we were only the better team for the second half of the Huddersfield second leg.

    Why then did you allow Andy Ritchie to start the season with virtually the same squad? Surely you didnt believe it would be good enough to contend in the Championship?

    You sacked Ritchie for not bringing players in but in truth, were the players you recommended better than what we already had or the ones weve signed or brought in on loan?

    Finally. Where are we at with your managerial points per game abacus Mr Shepherd?

    Impressive! Although you'd think, what with Cryne being a big IT man, he'd at least got himself a spreadsheet for such vital calculations...
