Have we got any more lads we're excited about? Reason I ask is I'd barely heard of Holgate and Bree when they made the step up to first team level, they kind of came from nowhere. I tend to get down and watch the U21's once or twice a season, so often know the names of the players, but haven't been this year. Those in and around the first team this year (Abbott, Bree, Digby, Templeton, Smith) seem to be players that have been on the fringes a while, supplemented with players bought from non league. So are there any gems that need fast tracking? Is this the optimum time to do it, given how bare the squad seems? PS - what happened to Cowgill?
