Why have some of our out of contract players not even been offered a contract yet despite being on the retained list?

No she's his wife. The woman who lives with him. Unless of course you think he's been offered a contract and has kept it from her for some reason
Or maybe the players are resecting the club and keeping private info private. Twitter and facebook are the devils arse.
I spoke to Bobby, he's staying as far as he knows, but there are more pressing discussions which are rightly taking priority. Luke and Cranie, I would think. He hopes to have it sorted in 2 weeks, said that 5 days ago. He's certainly looking at a substantial cut in salary, hopefully it won't be derisory to the point where he refuses it. Stop over-thinking, meditate or summat.
Indeed. I honestly can't get my head around the whole social media thing. I'm not trying to have a go at Mrs Bobby as I know it's the norm these days and I'm just out of touch, but if Mrs Burgundy Red started circulating the status of my contract negotiations to large numbers of complete strangers I'd be incensed. Not least because they're usually subject either to explicit confidentiality clauses or at the very least to a reasonable expectation of client confidentiality. It's all seems very odd to me for such discussion to be in the public domain.
It's true! We were chatting about the fundraising project, which led onto the subject of memorabilia and how he's given most of his away (arrr...) I said don't fret Bob - you will get tons from the testimonial, he said I haven't signed a contract yet, I said they wouldn't bloody dare!, he said well what about Fozzie? - and then all hell pretty much broke loose.
