I think Thordarson had breath tests to ensure they weren't over indulging.

Peter Begrie had a self imposed booze ban for the last couple of years ans he said it allowed him to extend his career.

Whether you like him or not he's in good nick for his age.

Windass likes a beer and he keeps going. I think as long

as it's in moderation it doesn't do any harm.

spot on Owen, there's a big difference between three or four pints away from the match day, or some wine with your meal and getting falling down drunk.

People say that they are only doing what other lads do. True, but other lads don't earn their living as professional athletes.

Sorry BFCDave, which one is supposed to be the worse here?

    there's a big difference between:
"three or four pints away from the match day," or
"some wine with your meal and getting falling down drunk."
