Just seen a convoy of minibuses on its way up to Leeds - they're on the beers at 8.30am!!
Anyway, my colleague who has wangled a ticket wants to know if you're atill allowed to take in your own picnic hampers/ beers etc?
I seem to remember a bottle of champagne coming out of the picnic box last time I was on the West Terrace.

they search your bags as you go in and usually confiscate any glass bottles or cans. apparently you can take soft drinks if unopened, according to official stuuf with tickets

    No booze whatsoever

but you can take snap and unbroken sealed plastic bottles of pop (to stop vodka etc being mixed in).

Then you can either buy pints of watery Calsberg or Tetley's in plastic glasses after queing for 20 minutes. The small bottles of wine aren't bad (Wolf Blass) but expensive.

The bars away from Western Terrace tend to be less crowded, but you have to have a ticket for that part of ground (eg. Main Stand).

There is normally a Pig Roast and you can get extra crackling.
