Question...what to do in Cardiff while the match is on ?

Having a six-week old little boy, one of us (the wife hopefully ?) will have the dubious pleasure of missing the match next week.

We would like to make a family day of it, but I have just spoken to a Wednesdayite across the road who says everything closes in Cardiff on play-off days except the pubs.

Can anyone tell me if this true or will the wife be sat in the car all afternoon ?

I have read what Dragon Tyke has suggested, but would like some reassurance that there will be some shops or attractions to keep her amused - or she definitely won't be !
