Just had to renew my library ticket and they had to ask me, amongst other questions, my ethnic origin.
What the fk that's got to do with borrowing books I don't know.
Anyroad I said English, and woman said english not on computer.
    British yes, but not English.
I insisted that I was english and that there were about 55 million others like me. Still no go.
So I ended up saying "other" so she could put summat in.
What a fkin condemnation, what an insult, what a pathetic level we've been made to stoop to.
    I'M ENGLISH for gods sake.

    Actually

You're British. You'll have a 'British' passport, not 'English'.

    Maintain the Union.

Dead right mate the bloody Scots and the Welsh get to be nationalistic but the bleeding heart PC brigade down here won't stand for it.I always stick English in too (mind you Yorkshire would do)

    I'm not Yorkshire.

    I'm TARN.

    Is that an option?

Nationality: "FRUM TARN." First language: "TARN-ESE."
