personally i would pay whatever they put them up to, but i reckon the club made a mistake in keeping the ticket prices the same.

i dont think people would have minded paying a little more for next season considering we will be playing against better teams.

however though, on the flip side, keeping the tickets the same price should encourage more people to buy them should it not, and hense bring more money into the club???

If we had stayed down, then yes. But with us playing in a higher division, I don't think most people would have minded.

Birmingham's aquisition of Cameron Jerome for £3.5 million brought home to me the task the club faces. Agreed, most clubs in this division can't afford money like that, but there are some who will push the boat out. Even in the First Divsion, Swansea paid out £600,000 in the January transfer window, something we could not even contemplate.

Andy R will have to be very shrewd in his purchases. It was nice to hear Pat Cryne saying we wanted box-offices players, who will pull-in the crowds, and add to the quality of the team, and if these players become available, there will be funding.

i think keeping the prices the same is a great way to give something back to the fans that have paid too much money in the past few years for division 3 football. putting them up would have been like milking the cow (us fans being the cow).

possibly a mistake but the club now need to turn it to their advantage

We are the cheapest in the league and they need to make that fact known! Push a marketing campaign around it to fetch in new fans.

Pegging prices was a sound move

Just one of a number of sound moves taken by a very sensible board, who are quietly moving us in the right direction in all sorts of ways.</p>

But the announcement was when we didn't know what division - agreed that most people would still have renewed because we went up but a good move I think....they'll get more anyway due to the promotion
