(If you didn't know the meeting's tonight (Tuesday) at the revamped Oakwell Executive Suite at Barnsley FC starting at 7.00pm. The invited guest speaker will be Barnsley FC Manager Simon Davey)

So if you can't make it but want to put a question to Simon Davey, then post your question here and I'll see if we can get him to answer it.

By the way the meeting is open to all members of the Supporters Trust. Non members can join on the day. You'll also be able to see what a fine job the club have done improving the legends suite. (if you didn't see it at the open day).

My question to Mr Davey would be the following:

With all the new foreign players in our team, are you not at least a little worried that language barriers will ruin communication on the pitch until they get more equiped?

He will reply "football is one language". He's already answered that one in numerous interviews about his foreign signings.

One language is bull. The new players are struggling to adapt to the English game and language at the moment.

His quote from the Yorks Post "Football is a universal language". And he will mention that Stan couldn't speak English when he first arrived as well. Your best off asking him one on the castles of the 16th century or something.

Where does he believe will be a successful finish? ... really ... not the media spin answer

He needs to be carteful with the answer to that one as well ...

because if he says too high (mid-table, and we end up in a relegation scrap) people will be after his head

if he says fighting just above relegation, people will raise a few eyebrows (but I happen to think with such massive changes and his first season with his own squad that's not unreasonable)

I don't want to catch him out, I'm genuinely interested to know what he thinks is his target for success this season ... and his reasoning is

    My questions:

    (1) Simon - what do you think about the safe pedestrianisation of Norwich City centre?
I'm dead against it - people need access to Dixons.

    (2) Simon - who was on the grassy knoll?

    (3) Simon - I think Mendleeyevs classification of elements into the structure now known as the periodic table is one of the greatest achievements of all time. Does it compare to Paul Reids achievement in getting a two year contract with BFC?

    (4) Simon - who was your favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

    (5) Simon - aren't you even slightly uncomfortable in the knowledge that you keep spouting off about fitness levels, but you look like you've just rolled out of the Cadburys Testing Lab after a 72,000 hour shift?

    (6) Simon - would you take Antony Kay in a fist fight?

    (7) Simon - what the **** is Dwayne Mattis for?

    (8) Simon - did you know that people in the rainforests would like a piece of Wales, the size of Wales, destroyed every year?

    (9) Simon - can you dance?

    (10) Simon - if you could sign any player from another Championship club, would it be Lee Bullen?

    Yours in sport,

    Stevey T.

We haven't got any homegrown players

    He's dispensed with all them.

I was just interested in what he thought about him.

I can't recallreading or hearing what he thought about AR.

He certainly looks like he doesn't partake in his strict fitness regime.

I bet he actually models himself on fatty Sturrock.
