having just collected my tickets my missus reckons the queue for the box office is a mile long and the queue for the turnstyles is none existant. The turnstyles are only selling tickets for the crumbier seats because the best areas have been reserved for the season ticket holders.
It's not a case of 'reserving the best areas for ST holders' mate The club have said they are saving season ticket holders seats until the kick off, to give them the best chance of buying their own seat
surely they know which seats were season tickets and which ones weren't and they didn't have to reserve the entire 2 3 4 5 6 7 blocks in the east stand lower?</p> only 1 & 8 on sale at the turnstyle (according to my missus!!!)</p>
Oh sorry mate, I see what you mean .... I assumed they would have printed off tickets for every seat in the ground that was not allocated to a season ticket holder then sold these to everybody else on the turnstiles. Oh dear, that's another 'blip' with the ticketing arrangements then!
Family Area Only selling tickets from Gangway 16 ,yet Family Stand extends to Gangway 15 as well,where have G15 tickets gone.The box office is only selling Season ticket holders their allocated seats,you can't buy extra tickets unless you queue at the turnstyles.There is only one turnstyle selling Family Stand tickets and I was almost at the front of it.I know that most of the seats around ours are'nt season ticket holders ,so I expected being at the front to have a good chance of getting the extra 2 tickets near to our usual seats but the seller said he only had G16 tickets to sell.Surely the club are'nt that tight to reduce the number of kids tickets at £9 by reducing the Family Area to G16
