My dads gone down to queue for the tickets - he says there was around 120 in front of him for the £55 tickets, with probably another 30-50 behind him. He says all the different queues had roughly the same amount of people, with a few more in the £35 queue.
My brother is in the £45 queue. About 200 people in front of him he reckons. At half 6 he was said it was getting really busy.
shouldn't take too long on the turnstiles though 200 people won't take anywhere near as long as with the box office, takes about 20 seconds to count money and give tickets compared to messing about picking seats
RE: shouldn't take too long on the turnstiles though About 100 people in front of me when the turnstyles opened got served at 10.10!!!!! took 10 minutes to serve me 7 tickets!
Just spoke to my mate whos in the £45 queue! He got there at 6.45 this morning Said its really slow, poorly organised and he cant see himself getting tickets til around 4 this afternoon if it continues as it is.
Generally speaking Would your dad say that the people in the £35 queue are taller or shorter than those wanting a £55 ticket ?
Arrived at ground at ten thirty.Half an hour in the £55 queue and moved five yards. Estimated about six hours. Moved to £25 queue and served in 25 minutes.
My mates are still in the 55 queue after 7 hours. They are 200 from front but word is filtering down the line that they only have odds and sods left ... if they are asked to move queues it may go off!
If the £55's sell out and theres still some people in the queue can they push in the £45 queue? Can't see how BFC will work it? Are they giving out raffle tickets?? There'll be a riot!
doesn't help that each turnstile only has a batch of 100 tickets at a time-when they've been sold they have to take the money to box office and get another batch of 100. Was in the £45 queue from around half 9, met my mate who'd been there since 6.15am and we moved very little till around half 11ish when we decided to join the £25 queue. 5mins later and i'm going to wembley. only 5 people were in front of me!
Box of 100 @ £55 = £5.5K etc... Lot of cash to be swilling around in the turnstiles. The girl that served me was complaining of a hangover cos she'd been on a bender the night before. Good job she had a calculator.
Steward told us that once the £55 tickets sold, they would start selling the £45 tickets to that queue also. Left my mate in the queue.... his turn this time, I got the Liverpool (7 hours!!!) and Chelsea tickets....
