Queuing early morning is just mental. Queues all day yesterday- mine were bought by someone walking up at 4pm with no queue.
People panicking queuing for a long time for no reason. If funnyfella is rught with saying 1k kids st havent been used we cant sell out city this week so people should go down in their own time.
Round bottom of the stand. Be about a thousand at a rough estimate in the queue. And steadily growing.
Not quite mental if you turn up at 4 expecting no queues and theres no tickets left Yesterday was guaranteed. maybe today is , but people don't know that for sure.
fair enough, slept since then, cant remember that bit so do they get counted in match day attendances?
So Barnsley FC dont Include every season ticket holder into a match day attendance whether they turn up not, like most other clubs do
Yeah lots do. Bloke at work is a Norwich fan and says that they announce the attendance and then say what percentage of season ticket holders have actually turned up. But the official figure includes all ST holders. Its doesn't effect anything as the club already has the cash, but makes attendance figures look better
Went down at dinnertime. About 100 or so in front of me and got done in 80 minutes which wasn't bad to say only three were serving when I got to front of the queue. When I left the queue was about half that size with about 40-50 waiting so if you go down for tickets today you should be done in 30-45 minutes now the morning nutters/panic brigade have gone home. The queue goes down the side of the main reception top half of the Ponte, so you get to see all the fan bricks in the wall, including the one still there for Chris Corke. Even though the upper tier is sold out the staff were as helpful as always. Actually asking you where you'd like to sit within the lower tier rather than just a random seat. I thought that was a nice touch.
I queued up early this morning so I wouldn't miss as much work. And it meant I had a wider choice of where I wanted to sit.
I also queued this morning. I also knew that in all likelihood I could have gone tomorrow (couldn't get away from work early today) and got one. However, the fact is I am willing to give up a couple of hours of my life before work to be sure; that doesn't make me mental or in a panic thanks very much, I rationally decided that is what I would do.
