Got to say, people can say what they want about Donald Rowing, was as nice has anyone you could meet today.
Been today at ten past 1 & queued for 1 hour 15mins. Queue was getting slightly longer as well. I left it today as I've only recently made my mind up to renew. Even if I had decided to renew earlier I would've still had to wait while today (payday) Don't forget they're charging 2% fee on each credit card transaction and 50p admin charge.
I think The Don would be a great asset to the club, but not solely running it on a day to day basis whilst Mr Invisible sits at home watching his FA seat on the new 360 Wembley photo.
I'd have got mine on saturday if they hadn't turned people away before the match and had opened for a short time at full time. It took over an hour this afternoon and those joining the queue now (if allowed to) will probably be there even longer. Lots of people seemed to be paying with cash to avoid extra fees, which I don't blame them for.
In the words of Victor Meldew, "I can't belive it." How stupid arepeople leaving to the last minute as it it were a dutch auction!
I tried to renew on website until discovering that I couldn't get the 5% Centenary Society discount that way, so left with no option but to queue today.
Queued today from 4:20pm till 5:10pm. They pulled shutters down at 4:57pm and moved those queuing inside. Left it till last minute as payday was last week and if Saturdays performance had been as poor as previous few, I would have quite easily not bothered. Would also have renewed online, but no option for centenary discount, so took CASH to avoid fees.
