I wouldn't put that as relegation attendance SM, looks midtable to me

[img=http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/8329/attc.gif]

and including league one to see where we sit with them [img=http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/8095/att2m.gif]
Plymouth had their nearest thing to a "local" game last night If they were playing most other clubs they would have had a gate below 10,000 Donny's aggregate attendance is 5,000 less than ours after playing the same teams and Preston took 1,700 there compared to the 900 they brought last night We have no right thinking we can compete with a massive club like Donny
Are they giving away tickets to under 11s? as I've said before, we need to finish top of the table that is us, Blackpool, Plymouth, Peterboro, Doncaster and Scunny. Take 6th bottom every time.
RE: Are they giving away tickets to under 11s? Let's think big eh? Mind you that 6th bottom looks a bit out of reach at the mo
RE: Are they giving away tickets to under 11s? thats the problem, there's people on here that think we are big. and we simply are not. No problem with aiming to win every game, but massive problem with those expecting us to.
Yes they are actually well ok it's under 10's but yes children get free season tickets at plymouth with a paying adult just like at barnsley. That kind of ruins your argument don't you think?
RE: Are they giving away tickets to under 11s? I don't think we expect to win every game or even lots but more than four since boxing day would be nice
Those tickets are only £30-£50 at other grounds anyway. For the population of the town we have good attendances, l'd be pissed if l was Donny getting 8k home fans after an impressive 2nd half last season and on their biggest high in 50 years.
RE: Are they giving away tickets to under 11s? Thats crap. Are the likes of Preston, Burnley, Bolton, Fulham bigger clubs than us? Are they ****. Think small, accept crap and we'll get everything we deserve.
attendances mean **** all its those on the pitch that win the games, not us in the stand. yes we may have a part to play, but its down to them.
Exactly my point. SM keeps banging on about our attendances being so poor, even league one standard he said last night and that we cant expect to do well on our attendance. Well last night our attendance was better than most and we lost 3-0.
I made the same point after saturdays game Though not with graphs and everything In response to someone saying we werent big enough to be in this league http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=148271&mid=999245#M999245 Agreeing with SuperYyke again this is a very worrying trend
Too true, and Donny are having to sell to survive cos of it. Wellens gone and the money banked yet still they're faring better than us. Why? Better manager?
