    i would like to think we would keep the majoirty of the squad together as they are only young and can grow together as a team!

    i think it would suit McPhail i.e lives in leeds does not have to move family etc

    but it depends on 3 things, what league we are in next season, can we afford him, and who else want him?

    Agreed, he played really well, like always. Hayes and Kay were oustanding too.

    He's been one of the best players all season, and in the last few weeks (since Burn's left)he's been outstanding.

    I get the feeling he really wants to stay here, and knows his chances of a new/decent contract are based on promotion or not. So he's playing well to get the team up, and also playing well for a contract, whether it will be at oakwell or elsewhere.

    Let's hope him and most of the current squad stay together for next season, whichever league we're in, they'll be even stronger.
