Which means what?

Presumably that you believe there isnt a club insider posting things with a slant in the clubs favour - propaganda if you want to call it that - on this board that are influencing peoples minds and opinions?

    RE: Which means what?

That is exactly waht i reckon mi owld mucker...... On a similar tangent; i knew a non-league goalie (who shall remain nameless) who was dropped by his team (that played at a decent level of football too) and he asked me to write in to 'Non-League Review' magazine to say what a brilliant player he was. :pff he sent a letter of his own in too, written as a make-believe character.

It's quite pathetic when somebody has to do that instead of having the balls to admit who they

    Don't you think?

And I think that you are wrong by the way but opinions make the world go round and all that [IMG]

I agree wholeheartedly about it being pathetic what the aforementioned individual got up to regarding the letter. He was a bit of a big-headed sod in all honesty! (Y)

We'll have to agree to disagree on the other matter. Like you said; it's what makes the world go round:)

Seriously, Super Tyke, do you think that?

Why would anyone go to the trouble of trying to influence a very small proportion of our fanbase by going Pravda on us?

If it IS true, then the person concerned needs naming and shaming. I can't see it, though.

If you a refering to me then you are wide of the mark.

I am just naturally positive when it comes to BFC. I am happy that Togwell has signed and I would like to think there would be a few more to follow.

In an ideal world we would have kept Scott but things are not ideal.

Just because you are negative doesnt mean you should invent conspiracy theories because you hear an opposing argument to the view that you take.

I wouldnt try to influence opinion, I merely just express one which happens to be different from yours. It just irritates me when people constantly have a go at the club for seemingly no justified reason or male bigger issues than they need to from certain situations.

woah woah woah. lets clarify one thing

I never mentioned any names, i didnt claim that you or anybody else was a club insider, I simply said that I think somebody on here is one.

Why would you think that I meant you?

RE: woah woah woah. lets clarify one thing

Only because we have a slightly different perspective on things down at Oakwell and I generally post positive things. In my view life is too short to constantly be negative. The one thing I am sure about is that deep down all the fans want the same thing, that is SURVIVAL we just have different opinions in how to achieve that aim.

RE: woah woah woah. lets clarify one thing

Of course we all have different views on how to achieve that. I'm sure there is often a difference of opinion between Ritchie and the players as to who should play and who shouldnt.

It just get's to me when people appear blind to the negative because it can do a lot more harm than good and when people who have effectively buried their head in the sand then post things that are designed to influence the opinions of others and make them forget that there are still bad things down at oakwell then it annoys me.

    Sorry, worded badly

I mean stupid decisions being made. Things happening that do have a negative affect regardless of whether you like it or not.

For example when kell was offered an extension there were obvious risks and negative aspects of him being offered that extension (the waste in wages while he was still injured) but some people may block that out of their mind and only see the positive (ie when he gets fit he will come good). It's all well and good thinking that but if you always had that attitude then we would sign every injured player in the country because in theory they may all come good sooner or later.

    shall we name names????

    I think its young nudger.

You know that old management tactic? They let it be known they are going to sack 500, then when they officially announce they are going to sack 300 everybody says that its not so bad afterall.

He's doing the same with us, by continually spreading doom and gloom he's got us thinking we are doomed to relegation with a record low on points, then when we finish 3rd from bottom things wont have been so bad afterall

With all due respect I think people are overestimating the importance of this forum.
