I know its prob in small print but some1 may know the answer. If I am renewing quite a few tickets at box office, is it 50p per ticket, or 50p per transaction. Doing online is 50p per ticket plus the booking fee per ticket, so that's not an option - could get a taxi to box office cheaper. Don't want hassle of going to cash machine 5 days in a row to get £1250 to pay cash.

so that's just 50p in total. easier than getting the cash.

    Thanks Mario/Tomfun

Possible overcharging of debit card fee.....

In fact it should only be 25p or 30p maximum for one debit card transaction.
Any more than that and the seller is breaking the law, I believe.
Credit card transactions do tend to have a percentage added, about 2-3%, which covers the extra cost from the credit card companies, but debit cards have a fixed fee, agreed between the merchant card suppliers/bank and the user.
I guess therefore that unless BFC have themselves been ripped off by the merchant card suppliers to the extent of 50p per transaction, then they are possibly illegally overcharging the end customer.

Re: Possible overcharging of debit card fee.....

Just gone to renew online, was about to pay then the following was added

    Season Credit Card Charge £8.50
    Season Ticket Booking Fee £3.00

add to this, its another £7.50 to have them posted or free to collect

As I may as well collect, can anyone confirm if I there will still be the £8.50 charge for using a credit card if I pay in the box office or is it just ticketmaster

No. Just renew at box office. 50p transaction fee on debit cards. Online is a Ticketmaster rip off
