..Were the ones you were impressed by those wearing orange, yellow or both. (I'll explain why I ask later) Ta!
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin All looked same when you have had a few orange, yellow....
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin I thought it was all very friendly and well organised, but in general I didn't notice them - which can only be a good thing. Can't say I noticed any difference between the reds and the oranges.
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin I cant say i noticed a difference. It was the little touches that made the experience great though. Being referred to as "sir", being treated like a human being, and the stewards looking like they were there for our benefit(unlike of some of the miserable gits at Oakwell). Also, the line of stewards on Wembley Way after the game with the foam finger, high fiving Reds fans and congratulating us, before wishing us a safe journey home....
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin To be honest, I didn't notice any difference in colour, a steward is a steward, The ones I or anyone I knew had dealings with were all helpful and courteous.
I thought the that both the Stewards and the Police at Wembley were both great.. helpful, Polite, good humoured, respectful... excellent. but what helped was that two sets of supporters went there with the intent of having a great day out (no mater what the result, ofc both sets were desperate to win) .... I dare say there may have been one or two idiots from either side being nasty and buggering about somewhere on the day, but so far I have not heard of owt happening untowards... and I hope nowt did. I Parked up at Hillingdon and 'tubed' in to Wembley from there... it was a main park/Ride for the Oxford fans.. and yet they afforded a great attitude to the thin veil of Tykes that used that avenue in.. it was another trip to Wembley that may have made a bridge to a club .... just like we feel about the 'Tractor Boys' that came about after our Play off Final at the Old Wembley... I so hope that Oxford get promoted now.... and I am not by any means being condescending with this sentiment..... I am being honest..
Re: I thought the that both the Stewards and the Police at Wembley Got to mention the police aswell, really good humoured, polite and courteous, having a laff with us on the way the ground, not baton wealding when they was a bit of signing and giddiness on the way to ground from the green man, softly softly does work
I was on level 2 Club Wembley entrance all the stewards/security were in suits. Very polite very helpful very professional!! I had my daughters buggy with me so they took me to customer services and let me leave it there until the end. Could not praise them enough. On the way out one steward suited up congratulated us and joked he'll see us in the pub in 20 mins so get him a pint in... Fantastic from start to finish Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin when I 1st walked in gate M I got asked by a steward IF I MINDED if he searched me....
Re:Can I ask if anyone else experienced this? Little girl had the stick removed from her flag on the grounds that it could be used as a weapon. When she got inside there were others close by waving flags with sticks. To say that she was disappointed is an understatement. Was this a one off?
Re: Can I ask if anyone else experienced this? the best experience of stewarding i,ve seen.............and i agree the police were spot on as well.
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin Still waiting for you to explain why Ta
The guy in orange near us was great - celebrated our goal like he was a barnsley fan too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin Stewards, staff...I would say everyone who was working at the Venue were fantastic, as has been said, being called sir...asked if you minded having your bag searched, ..at the end myself and my cousin needed a program, hadn't bought one as to me it is unlucky to buy one before the game, just 1 of my superstitions...anyway as we were leaving I saw a steward with a few programs and asked him if they were spare, and if so could we please have one each...no problem he said and gave us programs.....and also a ticket for club Wembley''''''''
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin All the Wembley staff I encountered were brilliant. That is all.
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin As someone who often provides feedback on customer service I like to try and have a 'balanced' approach. If service has been bad I give negative feedback so think it is only fair that if the service has been good a positive feedback should be provided. Too often we tend to criticise when things are wrong but do not praise when service is good. I also wanted to test the on-line customer service and can report that it is of the same high standard as the stewarding apparently was. To that end I simply provided feedback ( in a strictly unofficial capacity I stress) to the Wembley admin, of the customer experience relating to the staffing and stewarding on the day which, overall , on information received, was excellent. OK?
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin Both were excellent; a guy with a yellow hi-vis searched my bag on the way in (as I expected) and he was friendly and helpful. Another guy in yellow managed to diffuse a potential situation in our block when a well-imbibed Barnsley supporter(?) objected to being asked to stop swearing by people with young children. And the guys in orange quietly diffused the situation when the stout bloke tried to get on to the pitch to the right of the goal at our end immediately after the final whistle. Conclusion: the stewarding was excellent, as was the whole experience. I'm still awaiting your explanation regarding the yellow and orange uniforms.
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin Hi ND....see response to clownered2. The Wembley customer services responded to my initial email comments asking which colour? I have responded based on the feedback I have had.. along the lines of "all of them" (including the police)
Re: Quick question for for those of you who were impressed with the Wembley stewardin Sorry, my post crossed with yours - just glad that we all agree that the overall experience was excellent.
