What do all the sides near the top of the league have in common? They play passing football to feet at a good pace (like us at Plymouth). So stop the long ball and we will stand more of a chance of staying up
Did you think Derby were a "passing team"? I can't remember them actually creating any chances today.
RE: Did you think Derby were a "passing team"? Yeah I seem to remember a couple of occasions when we were not closing down and the away fans were cheering every simple pass.
I wasnt impressed with Derby They played wiith one up front, packed midfield and defence when ever possible and had two scoring chances. If they had caught us on a better day we could have easily had a point from the game. Unfortunately for us having a decent target man seems excuse for Davey to hit everything high and long.
Long ball to ferenczi, tries to flick it on, nobody even in the same half of the pitch as him. Not good enough, especially at home. We looked much better and balanced when hayes came on and we actually tried to get into their half.
