If you want to know how far people will travel, are you not interested in how far folk will travel to away matches? Just a thought.
Away matches I think the question of distance would over-simplify the matter though so not sure what conclusions could be drawn. Loads of other factors would determine whether an away match journey was attractive, eg. where exactly? is it a place you could combine with a day out (eg. Blackpool)? is it a place you could combine with visiting friends? is it a place where you would like to go on a night out? is it an easy place to get to (motorways etc.)? is it a team/ground you particularly want to visit or avoid? are the team playing good attractive football? and so forth. Has the advent of Barnsley World commentary meant some trips are less attractive and can be missed for some fans?
Not someone i've heard of. Which lesson is that? There's not much there anymore from my days. I even heard that Tunny is off with health problems. Mr T was a legend in teachers.
oh hes back now, had a hip opperation, because he used to walk around like something had been shoved up his arse quite funny, but hes back now
Got a fit daughter who's about 19/20 as well. A couple of my mates were checking out this lass and saying she's "well fit" and then Mr T comes from behind and says "alright lads" and they ask him what he's doing and he says he's out with his daughter pointing to where she was stood Mr T, Mr Ferguson (haha), Mrs Gregory and Mr Fear were the best department at school.
