Horrible conditions didn't help, scrappy game on the whole but some decent football when we managed to get the ball on the deck. We had by far the better chances and Stan missed two glorious chances in the first half. Leon went close in the 2nd and Howard had a couple too that didn't quite fall right. The penalty shout at the end looked cast iron to me, with Macken about to score the defender flung himself in and got none of the ball. Ref bottled it. Campbell-Ryce was a constant threat and deserved MOTM for me, honourable mention too to Kayode Odejayi who won just about everything after he came on and almost created one for across the 6 yard box. In the end I felt we could and perhaps should have won it with the chances we had. QPR were no great shakes but they competed well and threw bodies in the way when it mattered. think we really need to beat Sheff Wed now though, and to me it feels like two points lost rather than one gained.
Not a penner in my opinion had a good view from Ponty end and I would have been very upset if it was a penalty awarded against us like that.
Just my pennorth of course
