Quick week away - ideas please.

    Wife wants to book Centre Parcs next month for half term - been a few times but I always feel I've spent a fortune for not a lot .......

    Any ideas on alternatives ? Something with a bit of wow factor for kids (adventure type stuff, bikes, zip wire etc) without breaking the bank.

    Look up Tallington Lakes on Hoseasons Site. Near Stamford in Lincolnshire.

    We went camping, but I think they have lodges.

    Plenty of outdoors type sport, waterskiing, climbing wall, dry ski slope. Outdoor pool. Rutland water not too far away if you fancy a bike ride.
