http://www.clubfanzine.com/ipswich_town/v2.showNews.php?id=25665 What does everyone think?? Is he to be used as backup?? or even replacement for an outgoing midfielder??
I think given that Magilton spent £12m and Keane will inevitably have more to spend they are the exact sort of club from which we can pick up bargains. If he is a squad player for Ipswich he may be a good first team player for a lot of clubs. Foster from Burnley being a prime example
too true... but in what position for us?? at who's expense?? 293 career appearances & 28 goals!! not exactly prolific?? Think he will be a good signing but not sure wot role he will play in the 11!!
Championship/Premiership experience Full international. Exactly the type of player that people on here have been bairning about. So he'll be ****.
I'd be well chuffed if he signed. Good experience at this level and chipped in with the odd goal or 2. Supposedly a good set piece taker too.
He int meant to be prolific he's a left sided Midfielder who can play at full back aparently, so he's defensive minded, he aint going to be prolific is he. Could do a job for us i reckon.
Well, we bidded for Hammill the same time we were after Charlie Adam so i'd have thought so. Hope so anyway. Would be chuffed with this midfield - Campbell-Ryce Anderson Quinn Hammill. Much more balance to the side too.
More mixed feelings from Ipswich fans http://www.clubfanzine.com/ipswich_town/v2.showNews.php?id=25665 Edit: Sorry - same link On balance taking those comments into consideration, I think he'd do well for us. He'd be appreciated more than at a club like Ipswich, who are impatient to get back to where they think they belong.
