Barnsley Football Club ...... ..... when the Eaststand was built.
Oh ! .... and the first dedicated stand for the disabled, plus, the first club to 'win' the FA Cup, in Yorkshire.

Leeds United had them in the south stand way back in the late 70's Barnsley were the first in South Yorkshire
It wasn't sheffield as the boxes at Hillsbro were put in for Euro 96 at part of their south stand redevelopment. United's only went in when John Street was redeveloped. Leeds had them in 1990 as I recal them when we went there (could be wrong) I'll guess at Bradford when their stand was rebuilt after the fire.
don't think it was us as that would be 92/93.

It's not Barnsley anyway On our website it states we were the first club in SOUTH Yorkshire...which suggests it is a West Yorkshire club
RE: It's not Barnsley anyway Tha reight ES ! .... my mistake, we were the first club inSOUTH Yorkshire, but, weren't we the first to have our own radio station in Yorkshire?
