Wouldn't have it any other way Rather be the 'unfancied underdogs' any day, and besides, in many ways we have no right whatsoever to compete with the likes of Charlton because for the last 10 years we have been operating on different planets. As in the other thread, the fact that WE know the lads are capable of giving them a game makes such a refreshing change we just need to enjoy it - sod what the 'experts' in the media (who no doubt haven't watched us play this season as we haven't been on Sky) think! And a slightly moot point I know, but I personally don't believe we have seen the best of this side by a long chalk... there is more to come. For me, we have played really well for 45 mins against Scnuthorpe and Plymouth, 30 mins against Bristol City and 20 mins against Cardiff - the mark of a good side is getting results in spite of this and THAT is what excites me most. Can't comment on away games as I've yet to make one this season. Howard, Mostto, Odejayi, JCR and Kozluk all have more to offer yet... (yes I do include Howard... despite the 'interest,' £3m price tag and 6 goals he hasn't started as well as last season IMO and will get even better as the season goes on).

If we were to have a good season It's fair to say the national press will be their usual condescending selves when it comes to passing plaudits our way . I love it when the media and opposition fans treat us with such contempt . The taste of victory becomes so much sweeter because of it .
Amazing Amazing how a reporter can come to such a conclusion without actually watching us play which is more than likely the case.
