Qustion re speeding convictions

    For all those unfortunate enough to have had a fixed penalty speeding conviction - how quickly did your license get returned after points were added? I sent mine off two months ago and not had it back.

    I got mine back within a fortnight.

    Another 3 points and I can have a bike!

    I am waiting for mine to come back too. The Barstewards have taken the money out of my account tho`, the money had gone within a week. £60 for 35 miles an hour. First time I have ever had a speeding fine in 22 years of driving a car and 28 years on a bike. My eyesight must be going , I can usually spot the cameras but this little Barsteward was lurking round a bend,

    The office in the court in Sheffield that deals with it is usaully quite efficient and the ladies in their are very nice (in a motherly way).lol
