I told my work mate that I'd asked Barnsley folk about his impression of Barnsley as racist. He still thinks he would avoid coming here and is not sure he would be safe. A sad state of affairs.
im part racist part not. i liked bruce dyer and jcr but i cant stand the somalians and muslims they walk round town all day whereas im at work. fecking hate em, lets be proud to be racist
What race is your mate then? 100 metres? 200 metres? 400 metres? 400 metre hurdles? Marathon? We're no more racist than anywhere else. If that's how he feels that's his choice.
not been funny but if he dont wanna come and mix with us whiteys then let him be, why is it such a big thing to bring him here? Does my head in that the others can say we are racist etc and nothing is said but if its the other way round we get hung drawn and quartered!!! Be proud of your own and take one of your barnsley mates with u instead, he will be pleased with the offer
Sad state of affairs that white people can't walk through Brixton safetly. Oooops forgot we're not allowed to mention the other side of the coin
Well I used to regularly walk from Brixton to Streatham at 3am and beyond after a night out in North London, and the night bus to Brixton, and never had any problems.
I think things have changed drastically since then. It has been allowed to become like a ghetto and i blame the police and local councils when this happens within communities. It makes life easier for them sometimes, to allow this to happen as it keeps things contained.
Nonsense - I was out there last night - No problems at all There never is ... Feel safer in Brixton at night than walking down Wellington Street at 2am - at least people there know how to behave ....

I was over in London 2 years ago with my mates from Norway. They wanted to go to Brixton so i took them. They decided they wanted to go to the markets, against my advice and wandered off, i had to follow. After 5 minutes walk from the main street i stopped them and said that i was off and they can do what they wanted. They asked me why and i just said "look around". We were surrounded by hundreds of locals. Then a crazy rasti came running towards us with a pole. My mates took the hint and ran like **** out of there. Thing is, had i not stopped my mates they would have carried on into the back streets until it was too late. I will never go there again. I was honestly scared stiff. Normally i don't give a monkies uncle about where i go but Brixton is a really scarey place. Smells sweet there tho
