    He shows no remorse and believes that he was sent down due to the homophobic nature of British society(???),

    Every offence was him simply getting it wrong as a gay man. For all six convictions.

    Getting it wrong?

    I thought the age of consent was now 16 for homosexualities? Pretty big mistake to make?

    no it's still

    18, but it was 21 when the offences were committed. Apparently, young men aren't sexually aware enough to have sex at 16 as older men may take advantage of them but girls aren't targetted by older men in the eyes of the law.

    Yeah right.
