"arnsley have parted company with their manager Andy Ritchie today, apprently for not spending enough on players" (with a sound of incredulity in their voice) Does anyone seriously believe there was decent money available? If Ritchie didn't strengthen, I find it hard to believe it was for any reason other than he didn't think what he could get for his money was any better than what we had. I don't believe he had much money to spend.
The facts are we needed too strenghten.
Both the Chairman & the financial backer have said all along that money was available for salaries & transfers.
AR has used none of it, whether it was 50 or 500 grand.
I cannot believe that there was no-one we could afford out there that could have improved the side.
Its a fair bet two loanees arrive before thursday that will go straight into the side.

he is too nice... should have been more ruthless. got too pally with the players and didn't like dropping them or telling them they weren't good enough for this league
RE: The facts are Yes 2 loanees come straight into the side because their clubs insist on it, knock 2 regulars out and piss the rest of the squad right off. A bit like when we had Chopra, good player, after he'd played ten games and got used to the place, but the rest of the team played ****. ALSO what's the chances of getting hold of another Chopra?
All the current players have been given much more than a fair chance They need competition for their places and have stated that themselves as did Reid and Richards at the Supporter's meeting
Well lets not upset the apple cart eh? after all we are only on one of the worst strings of results in living memory FFS.
Piss the rest of the squad straight off? well we cant let that happen can we.
No doubt the better players int he squad are totally happy that the weaker ones will help them be in a relegation team. Of course they would rather be relegated than upset their poorer quality mates
FFS
FFS again.
