Ah so this is where you all are - been away for a week and you'd all disappeared again.

Anyway just to confirm the set-up for the two pre-season friendlies. Oakwell 1575AM will be on air from 7pm tonight both on 1575MW and on Barnsley World. The online version is subject to the connection to Premium TV working ok but I am told that it should do as Rob checked before he went on his hols (hey, all I can do is dial up and keep my fingers crossed). It'll be the same for Saturday but obviously with an 11.30am start. We're only doing a limited service tonight and on Saturday direct from the press box before resuming our normal service on Aug 6. I'm hoping to grab a word with Andy Ritchie before the game tonight so as long as I can find him that will go out between 7pm and 7.30pm!

In the absence of Mr Knowles I'll also be doing the website match reports (as long as I can follow these instructions he's left me) for these two games and the first two games of the season. There might be a delay in them going on the website as I don't have access to a laptop so will have to put them on when I get home. If I have any problems getting them on the official website I'll post them on here to start off with. And before you ask, no I'm not putting any other stuff on the website other than the match reports - if you've got any comments about the rest of the site please direct them to the club!

Hope that will help those who can't get to the games.

    Cheers

    Steve P.

    Robs Match Report guidelines.

Barnsley at all times play a combination of 'Total Football' and Brazil c.1970.

They create 'numerous' chances. Whatever the final score.

An opposition player must be singled out for ridicule.

The opposition keeper plays a blinder no matter what.

    RE: Robs Match Report guidelines.

and at least one opposing defender has to be described as 'lumbering' and has to commit at least one foul that everyone in the ground (well, Rob actually) thinks is a penalty - except the biased ref.
