    Gordon Shephard said we could have had Bates from Middlesborough and Jones from Man.Utd.In the case of Bates he said Ritchie had to ring Boro but he never did and he couldn't guarentee the Jones lad a first team spot even though he since went to Colchester and is keeping the bench warm.Now its possible that Ritchie didn't want either player but it looks like he could be in for a collision with Shephard.

    ...is everyone obsessed with spelling on this board? So what if something isn't spelt correctly, as long as you can still understand what they are meaning. Anyone would think this was a site for the Literary Society the way people go on. Pedantic isn't the word. Compulsive-obsessive probably is.

    There isn't a spellchecker on this site, so it would mean using outlook, for example, spellchecking in there and then cut and pasting into here.

    Comments such as "why are people bothered if things are spelled correctly" - sums up the state of education in the country I guess!

    At last. Something to get worked up about instead of venting frustration at the Club and the Board in general. I see this as a success.</p>

    By the way, sometimes all it needs is a little common sense and the slightest understanding of the English language to prevent people from making the most stupid of mistakes when typing a suntance!</p>
