Anybody hear 'John' the Barnsley fan on then? He was knocking Darren Moore's performance and when asked who his man of the match would have been, he said Julian Gray or Anderson because of his work rate. I didn't realise Anderson had any form of work rate on saturday?
Yeah when he can be arsed He was poor against Watford and Swansea, doesn't look like he's up for a battle
That said, class goal v Derby

MM62 you watch him and hes not has bad has you think. Is off the ball is not bad but hes not like iain hume who runs at 100% every time.
He is. I was only saying he didn't warrant the man of the match award on saturday for his below average 'work rate'.
Yeah i hear it too. Personally i thought Anderson was pretty anonymous on Saturday so was amazed that anyone who went to the game could have him down as MOM.
For me, Anderson has been poor all this season Looked good when he came on at Derby, so maybe he might be best coming off the bench????? I think when Halfredsson is fit, he should start in the centre of midfield with Colace.
RE: For me, Anderson has been poor all this season Colace wasn't much better than Anderson on Sat. Both fairly anonymous.
The problem on Saturday was that robins played 3 cm's in one midfield. This can work in a 4132 but not in a 442. The midfield was getting frustrated and they kept looking at the bench for instructions on britton(No 7). The good thing his we wont see a side like that at oakwell. maybe doncaster but even there not that good.
RE: Does he hell as like you say he is lazy but your wrong, alot of his work is made to LOOK lazy, he is a good passer of the ball and quality players make the game look easy. he could run round like a blue arsed and be lazy ie, Mifsud!!!
For the record it wasn't me!!...... Hume was MOTM IMHO, also thought Preece did well I thought most players put a shift in on Saturday...... IMO there was a big difference in players attitudes no one paniced or nervous for a start, even though Swansea were passing rings around us at times I felt we never gave up...... we even pressed and closed players in first 20mins.... it was good to see!! and for the first time in a long time I felt the players played with pride, and were proud to wear the shirt. Under Davey to many players were in a comfort zone e.g. Anderson, JCR, Macken, KO, Foster, Moore, Hassell, Kozluk.......... Robbo has made it clear already that no player is guarenteed the shirt and that they need to earn it. Good to see!! Fingers crossed for a win tonight. Could be tough to predict team with so many injuries and players cup tied. I reckon he'll play.. Preece Kozluk, Foster, Thompson, J.Gray Devaney, Anderson, Butterfield, Hammill Macken & Hume
Did you think it was 4-4-2 on Sat then? It looked like Gray up top alone most of time, with Hume et al trying to join up quickly. Could have been wrong tho`
RE: Did you think it was 4-4-2 on Sat then? I thought that too. Anderson, Colace and Butterfield were all playing central. Hume and Hammill were doing the wide work. And it definitely didn't work. They didn't seem to know who should be doing what in there so defensively we didn't do anything in the middle. Amount of time and space that Swansea had in there was unbelievable considering we had 3 in there.
